FBI El Paso Citizens Academy Alumni Association
Welcome to the FBI EL PASO Citizens Academy Alumni Association The FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBIEPCAAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer organization that works in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation on community outreach programs to promote public safety and security through community engagement, education, and service initiatives. We work hand in hand with local FBI Field Offices to develop and deliver outreach programming tailored to their communities. Chapter meetings bring members together on a regular basis to hear presentations on topics of importance to regional safety and security. Alumni volunteer time, expertise, and material support for community service initiatives. As volunteer ambassadors for the FBI, the FBICAAA educates communities about federal law enforcement issues, priorities, and goals; and serves to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in alignment with the mission and resources of the FBI.

Causes: Community Advocacy, Education, Emergency Response

We are seeking donations to fund our community outreach program which supports the FBI by helping educate the community. The dedicated FBIEPCAAA Board and its Alumni members participate in and lead many community events that increase the community awareness around issues that impact daily life in El Paso. Some recent examples of our work include supporting the FBI, El Paso Sheriff’s department and the El Paso Police Department personnel in the aftermath of the WalMart shooting by providing meals for everyone working the crime scene.

Our mission and commitment with each community outreach event is to ENGAGE, EDUCATE AND EMPOWER for a safer El Paso community. Our community outreach activities include:

  • Provide free presentations and distribute education materials (Senior Elder Fraud; Cybersecurity Fraud & Scams, etc.) to help educate our community so they can identify potential fraud and scams. It also includes Active Shooter Training presentations.

  • FBI Safe Online Surfing (SOS) Internet Challenge is a free, educational program for children that teaches cyber safety and helps them become better digital citizens in a fun and engaging way.

  • FBI Citizens Academy, FBI UTEP Academy and FBI Teen Academy. The mission of these academies is to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through hands on educational activities. Business leaders, UTEP students and High School students are nominated by FBI employees, former Citizens Academy graduates, and community leaders.

  • We also support and participate in all law enforcement community events such as the El Paso County Sheriff’s and El Paso Police Department National Night Out which enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement increasing a true sense of community.

We are asking for your donations and annual support to help us increase the effectiveness of our programs and widen the outreach to every citizen of El Paso. Every dollar you donate makes El Paso a safer place to live. Thank you for your support!

Donate to support our programs and mission.
