SISTERS IN THE FIGHT

Kristin Sizemore and Jennifer Rau are sisters, both biological and breast cancer sisters. When Jennifer was celebrating her five-year cancerversary, Kristin was diagnosed with breast cancer. With no genetic markers for inherited breast cancer, the sisters knew that their story could help others. Kristin Sizemore, Founder of Sisters in the Fight Breast Cancer Foundation, has vowed to make her mess her message by educating others on early detection and helping those in need through programs supporting the cancer fighter and the families affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Over 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the United States. Everyone knows someone who has battled breast cancer. Millions of dollars are given to research. While a cure for breast cancer is important, money donated to charitible organizations like Sisters in the Fight make an immediate impact in the lives of those those who need it the most. With costly medical bills and additional things like compression sleeves, wigs, and medication, the cancer patient has a hard time covering those expenses. That is where we fit in.

A nonprofit is as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Let’s bring our abilities and passions together to affect real change. Thank you for your support!
