I am part of the El Paso Aphasia Community Center. A non-profit organization that helps people who have had a stroke or a brain injury and now are unable to understand or express speech.

I am a 10-year stroke survivor and found this amazing group just this year. I finally found the name to what was happening to me. I find it hard to find the words to express myself, and being misunderstood.
