Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services is a nonprofit that offers immigration legal services to the West Texas region and southern New Mexico. Your donation can assist clients in need of immigration legal support. DMRS offers representation in areas such as permanent legal residence, U Visas, VAWA, naturalization and citizenship and many other services that are available at our office (http://www.dmrs-ep.org).

I work in the Crime Victims Unit. I assist clients who have been victims and many are survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking and crimes that qualify them to apply for a U Visa or VAWA. Many of our clients in this department have to go to shelters because of the violence they experience at home and have to leave their homes behind to get away from the abuser. Our clients have suffered through a variety of crimes that ultimately qualify them to a pathway to obtain immigration status in the United States. The majority of our clients are unable to pay for their legal fees and qualify for free legal services.

This is where you can make a difference. Your donation can help our crime victims and survivors have peace of mind knowing they do not have to worry about not having the ability to pay for our legal services. Your donation can assist a client to obtain that pathway to obtain immigration status, which leads to Legal Permanent Residency and eventually Citizenship.
