Earlier this year I started volunteering at the Kelly Center for Hunger Relief - and now I direct their FreshStart program! **Join me this El Paso Giving Day and support Kelly in their mission to help El Pasoans in need address hunger and food insecurity. **

Kelly approaches local hunger through 6 primary program areas: a Food Pantry open five days a week; a FreshStart program - helping individuals move toward self-sufficiency; a Community Clothes Closet; a partnership with Jardin de Milagros for farm-fresh food, hunger Research and Advocacy.

As you can imagine, as inflation and the general cost of living has increased this year, the number of people forced to choose between food and other basic needs has increased.
