I came here from Arkansas in 2011 to play basketball at UTEP and never left. Fifteen years later: a career at HUB, a wife I met here, and a son who turns one tomorrow — on El Paso Giving Day.
I’ve served on the YMCA of El Paso board for eight years because the Y is where this city takes care of its kids. Swim lessons, after-school care, summer camp — and no family turned away for what they can’t pay.
Our $25,000 goal gets matched to $50,000 tomorrow. Please wait until 8:00 a.m. to give so your gift doubles.
El Paso is our home. Let’s help take care of it!
