El Paso Giving Day: Let’s Change Lives!

Hey everyone! I’m Alejandro Vasquez, Compliance Director for the El Paso Coalition for the Homeless. Today’s the day we come together to make a BIG difference in our community. Our top priority? Raising funds for our amazing Diversion program, run by the incredible Annie McAlmon.

So, what’s the Diversion program all about? It’s our safety net for El Pasoans on the brink of homelessness. Maybe they missed rent due to a medical emergency, lost a job, or faced an unexpected setback. Perhaps they just need help with a deposit or a utility bill to get back on their feet. That’s where we step in, offering a hand up (not a handout) to prevent homelessness before it starts.

And it works! Our program has already helped countless individuals and families regain financial stability. They’ve even called back to say thanks and share their success stories. Now, it’s your turn to be part of that success.
