The Challenge Foundation empowers smart, ambitious, and hard-working students to break their cycles of poverty, manifest their dreams of higher education and their potential for giving back to the world.

Before being asked to become engaged in an advisory capacity, I had known nothing about our local Challenge Program, which, from middle school and continuing through college, awards tuition scholarships and individualized support services to first-generation scholars and their families.

By recognizing and nurturing the unique gifts and talents each scholar brings, the Challenge Program offers holistic support to help students overcome barriers and achieve educational success.
