Fospicing pets at El Paso Animal Services has been the most rewarding experience of my life. It’s a calling that isn’t for everyone, but for those who have the heart and capacity to open their homes to animals nearing the end of their journey, the rewards are beyond measure. It’s about providing love and dignity to innocent animals who, through no fault of their own, find themselves abandoned and facing their final days. These pets deserve to spend their last days, weeks, or months in a loving home with a caring family instead of perishing in a shelter.

I’ve had the privilege of loving and caring for beautiful souls like Charlie, Chaco, Amadeus, Cosmo, Oso, and Lucas. Each one brought their own unique joy, comfort, and lessons to my life, even if our time together was short. The bond we shared was deep, and I will always cherish the moments spent giving them comfort and companionship until it was their time to go.
