They say it takes a village to raise a child, and they aren’t lying. As aunts, uncles, parents, and caregivers, our group knows firsthand how important it is for an entire family to be educated, prepared, and equipped to give our little ones the best start in life. We all collectively care about giving back to families in our community, which is why Parents as Teachers means so much to us.

Recently, this vital program lost its official funding. Because we refuse to let local families go without this support, a group of us have come together to form “Little Steps, Big Impact.” We have set a goal to raise $1,000 to help fill the gap and keep these essential resources alive.

Parents as Teachers partners with families to provide home visits, developmental screenings, and tools that empower parents and caregivers in their role as a child’s first and most influential teacher.

We believe that by taking small actions together, we can make a massive difference for the children in our community. Every dollar raised goes directly toward keeping these educational resources, books, and home visits accessible to the families who rely on them. How your donation helps us make a big impact: • $25 provides educational books and learning toys for home visits. • $50 funds community group connections where parents can learn and grow together. • $100 sponsors a comprehensive developmental screening to catch early learning delays.
