Adaptive Cyclers Plus
Adaptive Cyclers Plus
Adaptive Cyclers Plus (ACP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for people with disabilities through competitive and recreational adaptive sports. Adaptive sports such as cycling have been proven to help people dealing with physical and mental disabilities such as amputations, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, visual impairment (and their caregiver), post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression. Please read below for more information on our program.

Causes: Disability Services, Veterans

ACP provides adaptive cycles free of charge for individuals with physical disabilities along with information and a training program. In addition, we provide helmets, bottled water, and other necessary items for the program participants. We also host competitive and recreational adaptive cycling events, as well as other adaptive sports such as bocce ball, pickle ball, and horseshoes. Our organization also helps disabled veterans obtain their own personal adaptive cycle through the El Paso Veterans Administration by tracking the number of miles and hours they ride. To date we have 75 disabled veterans and civilians participating in the program.

We greatly appreciate your gift in any amount! NO one in ACP is compensated for their time; 100% of your donation will be used for program needs. ACP can be this efficient because volunteer support keeps costs to a minimum. For those donations sufficient to allow for the purchase an adaptive cycle ($5,000), ACP would be honored to place your company logo (with your permission) or a plaque with your family name on the cycle purchased as an acknowledgement of your generosity.

I invite you to attend an event to see the joy that Adaptive Cycling brings to people with disabilities in the El Paso area. As a group we have cycled over 8000 miles so far this year. Please contact me at (915) 490-7375 or adaptivecyclesplus@gmail.com for event start times and locations, or for more information.

Thank You again,

Mike Osburn President Adaptive Cyclers Plus
