Armed Services YMCA EL Paso
The Armed Services YMCA enhances the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind, and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life. A gift from your heart can make a difference during thanksgiving and Christmas to a military family in Armed Services YMCA Operation Holiday Joy Program.

Causes: Poverty and Hunger, Veterans, Youth

We like to invite you to be part of our Operation Holiday Joy, by giving a positive holiday spirit to those who sacrifice so much for our country.

Your generous gift will help provide many smiles this holiday by giving thanksgiving turkey bags, Christmas gift/shoes to help military kids adapt and thrive during military life.

Military families face unprecedented challenges during deployments and their military lives. Additionally, unemployment has hit military spouses particularly hard, making it difficult for many to put food on the table without this vital second income during the COVID-19. This stress is only compounded by deployments and sacrifices they have to do during their military life. Despite these realities, our service members must continue to report for duty to safeguard our freedom.

To help offset these challenges, El Paso Armed Services YMCA has: Distributed more than 85,163 pounds of food and more than 7,500 in need families; educated 68 children thru virtual classes; provided childcare to 30 essential workers. With a resurgence of the virus occurring in many states, we expect this increased demand to continue. Military families have sacrificed so much. All these efforts are in the name of readiness. Our service members must remain focused on the task at hand – protecting our national security. So, we must do our part to ensure their family is supported and their needs are met during these holidays.

Please be generous, give today, and help support military families.

Now, more than ever, we need your help. 100% of money raised goes towards the Thanksgiving and christmas events.
