For more than 85 years, Catholic Counseling Services, Inc. has been a source of hope, healing, and support for individuals and families throughout the Diocese of El Paso. Established in 1938 as Catholic Social Services and recognized as a nonprofit organization in 1941, our ministry has continued to evolve to meet the emotional and mental health needs of our community.

Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and inspired by Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,” our mission is rooted in serving others with compassion, dignity, and understanding.

We believe that mental health care should never be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it.

Every day, individuals and families in our community face challenges that can feel overwhelming. Anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstances. Unfortunately, financial hardship often prevents individuals from seeking the professional support they deserve.
