Communities In Schools Of El Paso, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) classified (IRS) organization. CIS of El Paso is an accredited organization of the CIS National Program. Since 1985, Communities In Schools of El Paso has been the only stay in school program serving the El Paso area. To ensure student success and target the dropout problem, CIS implements its Program Model, Mission, Social Services and Five CIS Basics. CIS serves as the liaison between the community and the schools to improve in the areas of academics, behavior, and attendance. This, in turn, aids the students to become successful in their academic life.
