Desert Spoon Food Hub - El Paso Giving Day

Desert Spoon Food Hub

Desert Spoon Food Hub is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening our region's local food system by connecting consumers with fresh, locally grown and produced foods. Through Spoon Flower Grocery, the Community Farm Box, educational programs, and partnerships with local farmers and community organizations, we work to make local food more accessible while supporting the farmers who grow it.

A New Chapter

After more than a decade of serving the Paso del Norte region, Desert Spoon Food Hub and our nonprofit grocery store, Spoon Flower Grocery, are preparing for a new chapter. Due to a change in ownership of the property we currently lease, we will soon need to find a new home.

While unexpected, we truly believe this challenge could be an opportunity to protect a place where local farmers can sell what they grow, families can find fresh and nourishing food, neighbors can connect, and our community can build a stronger, more resilient local food system together but we can’t do it without YOU!

This El Paso Giving Day, your support will help us find our next home and ensure that this vital community resource continues to grow and serve El Paso and the surrounding regions for years to come.
