ABOUT EL PASO CHILDREN'S GARDEN El Paso Children’s Garden is a 60 acre botanic garden under development in West El Paso with easy access only 1.6 miles from I-10, featuring a three mile walk through 32 color-focused, native plant forward individually themed gardens, including a Skywalk; a permanent Butterfly House; a Gift Shop, a Café, a Demonstration Kitchen, and eight “Little House” venue rentals, seating from 50 to 300 for corporate meetings, family occasions, weddings and quinceaneras. The venue “Center at The Garden” serves 2000 in conference seating or 1000 at tables with fully equipped stage, sound and lights. ART & NATURE’S BEAUTY

Brimming with the beauty of nature in four different planting styles demonstrating a diverse set of plants in contemporary, arboreal, floral or native grass planting styles, plus sculpture, mosaic arts, rock arts, metal arts, plant topiaries and more.

HORTICULTURE, CONSERVATION AND BIO-DIVERSITY

A documented plant collection features 70% native plants, water conservation (passive water harvesting, treatment and recycling of up to 30 to 40% of all water. Special features include a Bee House, a permanent Butterfly House, Chicken Coop/Chicken Run, and Goat Hill with a central mission focused on the interdependence of plants, animals and people.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL ENGAGEMENT

We have completed an Environmental study, Geotech study, Traffic study, Schematic Design, Strategic Plan, Economic Impact Study, planned construction phasing and construction documents for water engineering and recycling. A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on September 25th. Now we begin the process of bringing essential water infrastructure to El Paso Children’s Garden.
