Cricket for all
At the El Paso Cricket Club, we’re building more than a team—we’re building a welcoming community where competition, camaraderie, and cultural exchange bring people together across the U.S.–Mexico border. From weekend league matches to tournaments, we make cricket accessible to a diverse group of people at all skill levels.
Why this matters here
One shared field. Nearly 900,000 neighbors.
El Paso and nearby Las Cruces have only one proper‑pitch cricket ground—shared with multiple other sports. That means fewer practice slots, damaged pitches, and interrupted seasons. Your support helps us expand safe, reliable access so more people can learn, play, and thrive.
Who we serve
Inclusive by design.
Our players, families, and supporters reflect the richness of our region — India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mexico, the Caribbean, and more—alongside local adults discovering cricket for the first time. We welcome multi‑racial/multi‑ethnic and Asian communities, and anyone curious to pick up a bat.
What your gift makes possible
Year‑round practice access: A dedicated batting cage with nets and lighting so beginners and seasoned players can train safely after school and work.
Gear and ground time: Equipment, field reservations, and maintenance to keep play consistent and affordable.
Youth programs: Clinics and camps that introduce the sport in schools and colleges and grow confidence, teamwork, and belonging.
Community tournaments: Local T20 events that bring families together and showcase cricket’s spirit and skill.
Our plan
From first swing to a home of our own.
In the next 6–12 months, we’re focused on the batting cage, essential equipment, ground access, tournaments, and youth clinics. Over the next few years, we’ll deepen school partnerships, expand outreach, and build a sustainable model through sponsorships and donations. Our long‑term vision is a dedicated cricket facility, a youth academy, and hosting regional tournaments, positioning El Paso as a Southwest hub for cricket.
Accountability you can trust
We are a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, and all contributions are tax-deductible. Our organization is listed in the IRS Business Master File and files the required Form 990‑N for full transparency. We’ve also earned the Bronze Seal of Transparency on Candid.org - a trusted platform that connects nonprofits, donors, and funders by providing verified, high-quality data to promote social good.
