El Paso is a community known for its strength in the face of adversity, compassion in the face of hatred, and light during the darkest moments. Martin Scorsese has said “cinema is a matter of what’s in the frame, and what’s out.” Now, more than ever, the El Paso Film Festival mission is to serve as a platform for members of the bi-national community to tell and share our stories.
Since our founding in 2018, the El Paso Film Festival has awarded over $35,000 in cash prizes to filmmakers.
