This Booster organization was created to help the Firebird band located in a lower income area on the Westside. The district provides minimal funds for the fine arts department and the donations made to this program will help the Firebird band compete against their peer schools in the area. Monies raised will go towards music materials, instruments, instrument repairs, clinicians, band jackets, meals for competition, competition fees, musical equipment and a band banquet. The band has 160 students and one band director. The boosters are dedicated to help both financially and through volunteering to the give the students all of the tools they need to succed both acedemically and musically to prepare them for high school.
