Huckleberry Hound Dog Rescue of El Paso began in August 2014 with just five dogs: Boo, Luna, Clooney, Lyla, and Snoopy. Over the past 12 years, we’ve grown tremendously. As an all-volunteer rescue, every penny from donations goes directly toward caring for the dogs and puppies we take in. All are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks, and dewormed.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, countless dogs and puppies have received a vital second chance at finding their “fur-ever” homes. In addition to routine care, we provide urgent veterinary attention to dogs and puppies facing serious health challenges.
