Causes: Children and Youth, Education
As a military family, we live a life of service and sacrifice. It is often that we face challenges of being apart from our soldier, frequent moves and transitions of the unknown. Last year, we moved from Honolulu, Hawaii to El Paso, Texas, just days before the school year began. Before this transition, my husband and I took the time to pray and struggled to remain obedient to God’s plan for us. Fearful of what this change was going to bring to our children, we began searching, not just for a school but a community; a community that would pour into our children, surrounding them daily with love, the comfort of God’s word and nurturing them as a whole.
Our move was humbling, and like any obstacles we can’t control, our family was grateful for The Annual Giving Day. This blessing was not only a confirmation of a wider community that we joined but God’s assurance that He will always be with us. The generosity shared throughout was a resource that truly made a difference for our family and others that are seeking the same opportunities. We are exactly where He needs us to be, continuing our walk alongside Him and grateful for those paths that we’ve crossed. Thank you for being a part of such a significant impact to our family!
With gratitude,
