Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence, and hope through basic need programs that connect under-resourced children to community resources they need to thrive. Our brand-new coats and shoes provide so much more than just physical warmth, they give children in urgent need the opportunity to select and own the brand-new necessities they deserve. In 2023, we gifted coats or shoes to 1,284 El Paso children through partner schools and organizations. $25 provides a new winter coat or a pair of new sneakers and socks to a child in need, fostering increased self-esteem, healthy outdoor play, and access to school; plus connections to valuable services that promote families' sustained economic recovery. $600 gifts coats or shoes to an entire elementary school class. Children who receive the gift of a new coat or shoes made just for them will experience less bullying and improved emotional health, allowing them to focus on their studies in school.
