Park Sharks Swim Team
Since 1970, the Park Sharks have been a beacon of hope and opportunity for young swimmers in Northeast El Paso, an underserved area in our community. Our team nurtures strong swimmers, ages 5-18, but it fosters confidence and leadership skills that last a lifetime. The Park Sharks Swim Team spans generations, with former swimmers becoming coaches and leaders within our community.

Causes: Children and Youth, Health and Mental Well-being

Our season, which runs from mid/late May to mid/late July, consists of rigorous training with 6-7 practices a week and competing in 6-7 meets against other summer swim teams in our area. While we do charge swim team fees, they only cover basic operational costs, coach salaries, and preparations for the end-of-summer city meet.

Our home pool, Park Foothills Community Pool, is in desperate need of repairs. This pool has been a community gem since the 1960s and is one of the few remaining community pools in El Paso. Essential repairs include replastering the pool surface, pump/filter repairs, covering pool chemical costs, and addressing deck/grounds repairs.

We are humbly seeking donations of any amount to ensure our team can continue to use this beloved pool and expand our reach within the community.

Donations may also be made to sponsor a swimmer’s fees or swim suit purchases.
