Causes: Education, Environment, Health and Mental Well-being
The Paso del Norte Trail is more than a trail. It is a growing network designed to connect people, neighborhoods, destinations, and communities across our region. Currently 30% complete, the Paso del Norte Trail will ultimately become a 70+ mile regional trail network spanning El Paso County, creating new opportunities for people of all ages to walk, bike, run, explore, and experience the outdoors. Each completed segment brings us closer to a more connected, healthier, and more vibrant Paso del Norte region.
Help Us Build the Zoo Segment
This Giving Day, we are focusing our efforts on a critical next step in the Trail’s growth: the Zoo Segment of the Paso del Norte Trail.
The Zoo Segment will add approximately one mile of new trail, creating an important connection within the regional trail network. While one mile may sound small, this segment represents something much bigger: another connection between people and places, another opportunity for recreation and wellness, and another step toward completing the vision of a regional trail system that serves our entire community. We are working to raise the funds needed to move the Zoo Segment toward construction. Your Giving Day donation will directly support this effort and help make this important connection a reality.
Your Gift Helps Build What Comes Next
Building a trail is about more than pouring concrete. It means creating spaces where families can spend time together, where neighbors can connect, where people can choose an active way to get around, and where our community can experience the unique landscape of the Paso del Norte region. Every contribution helps move the Trail forward.
