• The Photography Enthusiasts of El Paso (PEEP), established in 1993 as a 501(3)(c) educational arts organization are excited to announce the launch of a campaign aimed at raising startup funds for the creation of an innovative Photographer’s Collaborative, the only dedicated photogrpahy space within a 160 mile radius of El Paso. This Collaborative venture is designed to be a game-changer for local photographers, providing them with the resources and community support needed to thrive in the digital age. The goal of the fundraiser is to collect $5,000, which will be instrumental in defraying the costs associated with establishing the Collaborative. These funds will go towards securing a physical location, purchasing essential equipment, and covering initial operational expenses. The PEEP Co-Op is envisioned as a collaborative space where photographers, both amateur and professional, can come together to share knowledge, resources, and foster a vibrant photography community as well as a gallery space where photographers can sell their work.

“We believe that photography is not just about capturing moments, but also about the stories, emotions, and connections that bring us together,” said Tim Holt, President of PEEP. “The PEEP Co-Op will be a place where photographers can grow, collaborate, and contribute to the rich tapestry of our community’s visual narrative.” Contributors to the campaign will have the satisfaction of knowing they are supporting the arts and helping to launch a platform that empowers photographers to pursue their passion. Donations of any size are welcome, and every contribution brings PEEP one step closer to making the Photographer’s Collaborative a reality.
