Reach For A Star was built on one simple but powerful belief: when a child is facing a critical illness, hope matters.

For more than 40 years, our local 501(c)(3) nonprofit has been granting wishes to children with critical illnesses and creating moments when families can step away from doctors, treatments, and worry and simply enjoy being together.

To us, a wish is so much more than a gift. It’s something to look forward to. It’s a smile, a celebration, a day filled with laughter, and a memory a family can hold onto long after the moment has passed. 🌟

And our love for our families doesn’t end when the wish is over. Throughout the year, we continue bringing families and our community together through holiday celebrations, school supply giveaways, family events, Thanksgiving support, and other special moments.

Reach For A Star is run entirely by volunteers, and behind every wish are people who care—our volunteers, donors, sponsors, community partners, and families. We may be a small organization, but together, our community has a BIG heart.
