Themes change every month to provide new concepts and vocabulary.
Rockin’ Tykes started as a project of the El Paso International Music Foundation, but is now a stand-alone program and is a fiscal sponsoree of the El Paso Community Foundation, and currently has a residency at La Nube, but would like to add a second monthly session in various locations across the city and region.Therapists and Specialists provide real-time feedback and assistance during sessions to help parents meet their children where they are and help boost their skills to where they need to be. Rockin’ Tykes is an INCLUSIVE PROGRAM and we modify activities within the session to accomodate different ability levels. We use music and art activities, and occasionally have live musicians of all ages join us.We currently borrow our drum circle cajon drums from our good friends at Monk Drums, but would love to have our own set.
