Introduction: Humble Beginnings

It all began with three young wrestlers sharing a space with a local boxing gym. Driven by a passion to nurture not only athletic skills but also life values, the Sentinels Wrestling Academy has grown from these modest beginnings into a cornerstone of youth wrestling in El Paso. Today, we proudly train over 20 athletes in a 3,200 square foot facility, a testament to our community’s faith and commitment.

Our Journey: From Strength to Strength

Our journey has been marked by significant milestones and achievements. We’ve expanded our facilities and our reach, growing from an 1,100 square foot space to our current expansive training ground. Our commitment to excellence is evident in our results: 95% of our competitive athletes placed at the youth state tournament in Texas, and we boast the highest win percentage per tournament of any team in El Paso.

At Sentinels Wrestling Academy, wrestling is more than a sport—it’s a transformational experience. We’ve seen three of our young athletes and several parents dedicate their lives to Christ. Looking forward, we aim to assemble competitive dual teams for elementary, middle school, and high school levels—not just to compete, but to dominate. We are dedicated to helping our middle and high school wrestlers gain exposure by competing in the largest and toughest tournaments nationwide, giving them a legitimate shot at college scholarships. Our ultimate goal is to become the staple wrestling academy in El Paso, serving as a feeder program for high school teams poised to win championships. How Your Contributions Help

$50 covers one month of training for one athlete, providing them with the opportunity to grow and succeed in a supportive environment. $500 replenishes necessary equipment and cleaning supplies for the year, ensuring our facilities remain top-notch. $2,000 will help us purchase new wrestling mats, vital for our athletes’ training and safety.
