SOMOS Performance Group is very intentional about the performances that we put on, and we work to ensure that the themes and locations in our performances are relevant to the region we serve. Not only are we a performing arts group that promotes the border region through our selection of material, but we also ensure that we are using highly qualified individuals from our region to put on our performances. With this in mind our next production is going to be A Christmas Carol En La Frontera a reimagining of the original Charles Dickens play set in El Paso/Jaurez and written by local teaching artists Adriana Domínguez and Jay Stratton. A performance of this magnitude requires support from the community to do it the justice it deserves. All donations from El Paso Giving Day will go towards supporting this production and paying the highly qualified local individuals working on it.
