We believe in a world where every woman feels empowered to embrace her natural superpowers—fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. Our mission is to ensure that no woman feels alone or overwhelmed on her journey. We offer compassionate support and life-affirming services that recognize the miracle of life and the awe-inspiring strength of women.
We are transforming our centers into full-service birth and wellness centers, providing a sanctuary for women to receive comprehensive, life-affirming medical care. With your support, our aim is to hire a Certified Nurse Midwife to expand our childbirth services, going beyond pregnancy and medical care to offer holistic support for all women in the Borderland.
Our Mobile Medical Bus travels throughout the region, offering free pregnancy testing, 3D/4D ultrasounds, STI testing, and compassionate outreach. We reach women who often feel they have no other choice but abortion, providing them with support and alternatives. We are currently in need of a Mobile Nurse Sonographer which you can make possible with your support.
In its first year, the Lily Pad Maternity Home has been a refuge for five residents, offering a supportive environment throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. We empower women to build a strong foundation for themselves and their babies, ensuring they have the resources and confidence to thrive as mothers.
Through church engagement, prayer vigils, public events, community outreach, and advocacy, we promote healthcare that supports—rather than suppresses—the normal, healthy functions of a woman’s natural body. We believe in restoring awe and reverence for womanhood. We are also actively petitioning local construction companies not to build the proposed $10 million abortion center targeting El Paso, following a model that successfully prevented a similar facility in Austin in 2003.
Recently, we faced an unexpected setback when our funding from the New Mexico Early Childhood Education & Care Department was cut solely because we are a faith-based organization—a decision we believe is unconstitutional. This funding was instrumental in helping us expand Guiding Star Southwest into Las Cruces, providing free support to moms so they wouldn’t feel overwhelmed or alone. This cut forced us to eliminate innovative programs and at least one crucial position. With your help during this matching challenge, we can bridge this funding gap and continue providing these essential services.
Furthermore, with the number of abortion centers in the Borderland increasing from one to four—and a fifth, a $10 million tax-funded facility, planned specifically to target El Paso women—the need for our services has never been greater. Last year alone, over 14,000 Texas women traveled through El Paso to New Mexico for abortions. Your donation will help us expand our team to respond to this unprecedented crisis.
