We, at Southwest University Community Education and Research Fund (SU-CERF), are dedicated to cultivating a passion for education among children and teenagers. Our latest endeavor, “Unleashing Curiosity: Educational Dinosaur Books for Children of All Ages,” aims to create three captivating and informative dinosaur-themed books featuring El Paso region specific prehistoric creatures. These books will be tailored to elementary, middle school, and high school students.
Empowering Educators: Providing Essential Teaching Baskets for Public School Teachers In today’s ever-evolving educational landscape, equipping public school teachers with the necessary tools and resources is crucial to fostering a dynamic and effective learning environment for students. The “Empowering Educators” project aims to support our dedicated public school teachers by creating and distributing specially curated teaching baskets filled with essential materials that will enhance their ability to engage, inspire, and educate.
Fossilizing Geological Curiosity: Empowering Students and Communities through Specially Curated Rock Kits Geology and paleontology offer a window into the Earth’s history, sparking curiosity and fostering a deeper appreciation for the planet we call home. In the El Paso region, there is a wealth of geological wonders waiting to be discovered. However, not all students and community organizations have access to the resources needed to explore these fascinating fields. Our non-profit organization, the Southwest University Community Education and Research Fund (SU-CERF), is dedicated to changing that by launching a project that will bring the captivating world of geology and paleontology to the forefront of education and community engagement.

Unearthing the Past: Mapping Fossilized Dinosaur Tracks Utilizing Innovative Techniques Fossilized dinosaur tracks provide invaluable insights into Earth’s ancient history, enabling scientists and researchers to unravel the mysteries of prehistoric life. These tracks are like a time capsule, preserving the movements of dinosaurs millions of years ago. Our nonprofit organization, The Southwest University Community Education and Research Fund, is dedicated to advancing the field of paleontology by harnessing cutting-edge technology to map and preserve these extraordinary footprints found in the El Paso region. We are seeking your support to fund our project, “Unearthing the Past,” which will utilize innovative techniques to create accurate 3D models of fossilized dinosaur tracks, contributing to scientific knowledge, education, and conservation efforts.
