El Paso has a massive litter problem, Sun City Pickers was founded by four El Pasoans that agreed something had to be done to fight it. SCP is less than a year old but has already made a tremendous impact thanks to our amazing group of volunteers. Our model is hosting one hour community litter pickups in all areas of the city. In 2025, have organized 44 pickups and have removed 1087 bags of litter from the environment. We are 100% volunteer run & rely solely on volunteer donations, so every dollar donated to SCP makes an extreme impact!

If you can’t donate $, volunteers are always welcome and every single person who volunteers with us makes a difference! We are also accepting reusable water bottle donations to help distribute them to the community to decrease the amount of single use plastic waste.
