Help The Evelyn Solis Foundation raise $15,000 to support women, children, and families experiencing hardship across El Paso.
Through El Paso Giving Day, our community can help create meaningful experiences, meet practical needs, and provide encouragement to families navigating difficult circumstances.
Every contribution supports programs centered on family connection, education, wellness, essential resources, seasonal giving, and emergency or transitional assistance.
Your gift does more than support a program. It reminds a family that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
The Evelyn Solis Foundation was created by Evelyn’s family to honor her legacy of faith, kindness, compassion, and resilience.
Evelyn believed in helping people through difficult seasons and taught her family the importance of giving back. She expressed her generosity through simple but meaningful acts, including preparing treats for families, visiting shelters, feeding people in need, and helping others feel cared for and remembered.
Today, her legacy continues through programs that celebrate important moments, strengthen families, meet practical needs, and create opportunities for healing, connection, and hope.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
This scripture continues to guide our family and our work. It reminds us that hardship does not have to define a person’s future and that strength can grow through faith, encouragement, and community.
The Evelyn Solis Foundation was honored to be featured on iHeartRadio El Paso’s El Paso Public Forum.
In the first segment, host Amber Banda speaks with Lorraine Reyes, Executive Director, and Ivan Reyes, Secretary and Member of the Board of Directors, about Evelyn’s legacy, the heart behind the Foundation, the families we serve, our programs, and the importance of community involvement.

The Evelyn Solis Foundation supports women, children, and families experiencing hardship by fostering dignity, resilience, healing, and opportunity through community engagement, educational initiatives, wellness programs, essential resources, and charitable events.
We believe effective support should address both immediate needs and the deeper need to feel respected, included, encouraged, and capable of moving forward.
Hardship can interrupt routines, celebrations, family traditions, and many of the everyday experiences that create a sense of stability and belonging.
A child may miss a birthday celebration. A mother may be rebuilding after homelessness, domestic violence, displacement, or financial hardship. A family moving into stable housing may lack basic household items needed for a new beginning.
Our programs and partnerships help families regain meaningful parts of daily life, including:
Every child deserves to feel celebrated. Every woman deserves encouragement. Every family deserves to know that their present circumstances do not determine their future.
Our work combines practical assistance with experiences that help families reconnect with joy, creativity, confidence, and one another.
Past and ongoing programs have included:
Each program is designed to create more than a single enjoyable moment. It helps families strengthen relationships, build positive memories, and feel supported by their community.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to strengthen and expand El Paso-area programs throughout the coming year.
Giving Day contributions are expected to support:
Funds will be directed according to current community needs and the Foundation’s approved charitable priorities. Donations made through this campaign will support El Paso-area families, programs, and partnerships.
We can reach our goal through 300 gifts of $50, 150 gifts of $100, 30 gifts of $500, or a combination of donations at every level.
These examples illustrate how donations may support our work. Contributions are combined and directed where they can create the greatest charitable impact.
The Evelyn Solis Foundation was built through family, faith, volunteers, local partnerships, and the generosity of the El Paso community.
You can help continue Evelyn’s legacy in four meaningful ways:
Your contribution will help us celebrate more children, support more families, provide meaningful resources, and strengthen community partnerships throughout El Paso.
Give today and help turn compassion into action.
One day of giving can create an entire year of meaningful moments.
Give Joy. Restore Dignity. Build Stronger Futures.
