Veg Society of El Paso
VSEP is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving life on our planet by educating the public about the benefits of adopting a plant-based lifestyle. We promote compassion toward animals, the environment, and humanity by choosing to live cruelty-free. Adopting a plant-based diet makes perfect sense for many reasons. Vegetarians and vegans enjoy great health, inner peace, and a strong connection with the earth and the environment. We come from all walks of life and all areas of the world. We are all ages, colors, and cultures. Regardless of your reason for your interest in vegetarianism/veganism, we invite you to join us!

Who We Are

Established in 1993, the Veg Society of El Paso (VSEP) has become one of the largest vegetarian/vegan associations in the US as well as one of the most active. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit educational organization whose mission is to promote the benefits of a plant-based diet by incorporating education with entertaining social events.

What We Do

To promote a plant-based diet, we organize a plethora of activities including quarterly dinners with nationally known and inspiring speakers, special get-togethers for all-vegan meals at local restaurants, engaging educational presentations at schools, health fairs, delicious potluck dinners, interactive cooking classes, fun bake sales, and various informational events. Annually, we prepare and serve delicious, plant-based meals to community members experiencing homelessness.
