WE HIKE Adventure
At WE HIKE, the outdoors is more than exercise, it’s a pathway to safe adventures, health, connection, and resilience. We make El Paso’s trails, mountains, and desert landscapes accessible to all, blending safety, wellness, culture, and community into every adventure. From youth programs to full-moon hikes, to safety classes, WE HIKE inspires people of all mobilities to explore, learn, and thrive outdoors. This El Paso Giving Day, stand with us to build a healthier, stronger, and safer community, one step at a time, one adventure at a time. What makes WE HIKE truly different is our commitment to safety and preparedness. We are proud to be at the forefront of El Paso’s first-ever hiking safety initiatives, pioneering training, pledges, and community outreach that ensure every participant can explore the outdoors with confidence. Safety isn’t just a guideline for us; it’s the foundation of every adventure. Our vision goes beyond the trail. We integrate arts, history, and cultural storytelling into our hikes, connecting people not just to nature, but also to the rich heritage of our region. This El Paso Giving Day, we invite you to stand with us. Together, we can grow a healthier, stronger, and safer community, one step, one hike, one experience at a time.

Causes: Children and Youth, Education, Health and Mental Well-being

Creating Safer Communities. Developing Leaders. Changing Lives.

Every person deserves the opportunity to experience the outdoors safely, confidently, and without barriers.

WE HIKE Adventure is building a stronger El Paso by equipping youth, adults, families, and volunteers with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to succeed both outdoors and in everyday life. Through hands-on education, participants develop practical skills in decision-making, risk management, emergency preparedness, teamwork, communication, environmental stewardship, and leadership skills that strengthen individuals long after the program ends.

The impact reaches far beyond the trail.

A young person gains confidence to become a leader.

A family discovers healthier ways to spend time together.

A volunteer develops the skills to mentor others. Get Involved

A community becomes better prepared, more connected, and more resilient.

A community becomes stewards of the lands.

Every class, every volunteer, and every participant helps create a ripple effect that extends into schools, neighborhoods, workplaces, and public spaces throughout our region.

Your support on El Paso Giving Day helps remove financial barriers, expand free outdoor education, train volunteer leaders, provide safety equipment, and ensure more people have access to programs that build confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills.

This isn’t simply about getting people outside.

It’s about empowering people to lead, serve, protect, and inspire others.

Together, we’re building a stronger, safer, healthier community, one student, one person, one family, and one adventure at a time.
