Alzheimer’s Association West Texas
Currently El Paso County is listed as #10 in Alzheimer’s prevalence nationwide in persons age 65 or older. 15% of our elder population 65 years and older has been diagnosed with the disease. In Texas more than 400,000 are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 1,400,000 family and friends are providing unpaid care.
