1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. It kills more than breast cancer AND prostate cancer COMBINED. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Alzheimer's and dementia deaths have increased 16%. Today, there are more than 400,000 people in Texas are living with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. And, more than 1,079,000 of their family members and friends are providing them with around the clock 24/7 unpaid supervision and care.

Alzheimer’s Association West Texas

The West Texas Chapter maintains a full calendar of community programs, educational webinars, conferences and caregiver support circles for families, community members and people facing Alzheimer’s and other dementia. Virtual and in-person opportunities are available.
