The Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) in Ysleta ISD and the Young Women’s STEAM Academy (YWA) in El Paso ISD are part of the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN) - the nation’s largest network of all-girls, public, college preparatory schools. Together, our campuses serve more than 750 middle and high school students in grades 6-12 in the El Paso community. At YWLA and YWA, our mission is to provide young women, many the first in their families to attend college, with the academic foundation and leadership skills they need not only to get to college, but to succeed through college and into their careers. Our rigorous curriculum is built on the pillars of responsible leadership, college and career readiness, and health and wellness. Our students are true leaders, young women who are already making an impact today and who will continue shaping our community for years to come. With your support, we can ensure that every scholar at YWLA and YWA has the tools, opportunities, and confidence to transform her own life and the lives of those around her.

Through rigorous academics, leadership development, and enrichment programs rooted in STEM and the Arts, students at YWLA and YWA are empowered to reach their full potential and pursue their dreams with confidence.
