At Youth For Christ (YFC), our passion is to reach young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
Since 1944, Youth For Christ has had a distinctive history of youth ministry and evangelism. YFC has gained momentum over the years as revivals have popped up around the nation, leading tens of thousands to commit their lives to Christ.
The story of Youth For Christ El Paso began in 1996 under the direction of an amazing group of men and women who were passionate to reach the youth of our city. The first Youth For Christ club originated at Eastwood High School and then Hanks High School. Since then YFC El Paso has grown to 62 clubs both in English and Spanish across the El Paso area. In 2013 we began a Juvenile Justice Ministry (JJM) to reach the broken and troubled students in lock-up. Since then we have seen over 50 cadets commit their lives to Christ. Throughout the years we have seen the trajectory of individual lives transformed and empowered by the love of Christ.
But, our story isn’t over…!
We are entering into a new season of greater favor, more open doors of ministry, and a larger partnership with the community of El Paso.
Together, we can see YFC El Paso continue to grow and develop as we see more lives impacted in El Paso and the surrounding area.
