The Youth Opera of El Paso provides programs that encourage children, and young adults from our region to develop an appreciation for music, and to help prepare them to succeed in the educational arena. YOEP is an all-inclusive organization and does not focus on any one race, ethnicity, gender, age, or sexual orientation. We believe that a comprehensive performing arts education should be available to everyone. Music has always played a vital role in building healthy communities, and by helping children develop their self-confidence and leadership skills, it shapes their abilities and character to become better citizens. We only work, and collaborate with those that share these values, and help us instill them into the children of our community.
