Greetings all, I am the border ministry coordinator for the Tres Rios Border Foundation. I have seen first hand the impacts of our presence, education, and direct support for those in the El Paso and Juarez borderland region and beyond. We educate, offering presentations by zoom or in person about the realities and complexities of the border, including hosting 3 day immersive learning experiences. We assist how we can with citizenship classes, court observation and detention center visits. We help with direct support with housing, utilities, and food in Juarez. And we continue to pray for and advocate for humane treatment of migrants here and across the world. It costs $460 a day, $3250 a week, or $14,000 a month to fund our presence, proximity, and support. Any amount of generosity helps us meet the needs of those who are most in need.
