The mission of the Tres Rios Border Foundation is to inspire, equip, and connect PC(USA) congregations on the U.S.-Mexico border and beyond – toward loving God and neighbor. We are Presbyterian in founding and ecumenical and interfaith in mission. We are one participant in a wide network of shelters on both sides of the border in collaboration with Abara we accompany shelter leaders and migrants through meeting the most pressing needs on both sides of the border. We connect throughout the nation to assist with education about the realities of migration and the history, beauty, and joy in the border, bring people in to experience and learn from experts, and provide direct support including assistance with leader care, utilities, and food.
