Today is El Paso Giving Day.

You all know how important and special ARL is to me.

I started volunteering for ARL when Aaron left for college over 20 years ago. Yikes!

I thought it was just going to be something to keep me busy during the empty nest transition. lol. Eleven dogs, three cats and several, several fosters later I’m still at it. Little did I know back then, that ARL would be a part of my and my family’s life this many years later. A lot of you have adopted from and/or supported ARL throughout the years and for this I am forever grateful.

When I first started I was in total awe of the impact and difference ARL makes in the lives of so many homeless cats and dogs. To this day I am STILL in awe, because ARL continues to make a difference each and every day for so, so many homeless pets, who once they arrive at ARL are promised a wonderful, loving future.

As I look back throughout the years, I have so many wonderful memories of family and friends helping at ARL. Whether it was walking dogs, cuddling puppies, cleaning kennels, fostering (thank you Mom), adopting, donating, serving holiday breakfasts, helping at fundraisers, etc. I hope these experiences have been as special and meaningful to each and everyone of you as they are to me.

With that in mind, can you please help me reach my goal wih a small donation today on El Paso Giving Day. Your support makes it possible for ARL to continue to save and change lives for not only the four-legged babies but also for the people who are lucky enough to serve and spend time with these precious souls. I know it’s made a difference in my life and continues to feed my soul.
