What is the Borderland Rainbow Center? The Borderland Rainbow Center is on a mission to create a welcoming community space where LGBTQI individuals and their allies can nurture personal growth, healing, and empowerment.

This substance-free environment adheres to ethical standards and research-based best practices, connecting LGBTQI people with resources to enhance their physical and mental health, economic stability, legal rights, education, and spiritual and cultural enrichment.

What Does the BRC Do? The Borderland Rainbow Center was born out of the expressed needs of our community for support groups, healthcare access, substance-free social events, and educational and cultural workshops. We proudly provide food pantry services to nearly 400 households weekly in El Paso, regardless of clients’ sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, documentation status, race, ethnicity, national origin, or disability status. Moreover, we offer quality LGBTQ-affirming therapeutic services through a licensed clinical social worker with over 35 years of experience. To continue serving as a free/low-cost resource for the community, we rely on your support.

Where Does Your Donation Go? A remarkable 99% of your donation directly fuels our initiatives, with most of our work being grant and donor-funded. Our community center thrives thanks to the selfless dedication of volunteers who contribute their time to activities such as the weekly food pantry and hosting online groups and events.
