🏠 EL PASO GIVING DAY: HELP ME REBUILD A HOME — AND A LIFE

This El Paso Giving Day, I am personally asking my friends, family, and community to join me in supporting an organization whose mission means a great deal to me: Rebuilding Together El Paso (RTEP), where I am proud to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.

For many of us, home means safety, comfort, dignity, and peace of mind. But for some of our elderly neighbors, people with disabilities, veterans, and families living in poverty, home can become a place of worry and even danger when critical repairs are simply beyond what they can afford.

Imagine being elderly or living with a disability and facing a broken heating or cooling system, unsafe electrical or plumbing problems, deteriorating floors, or a bathroom you can no longer safely use. Imagine knowing what needs to be repaired—but having to choose between fixing your home, buying groceries, paying utilities, or purchasing medication.

That is where Rebuilding Together El Paso steps in.

RTEP provides critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and other improvements at no cost to qualifying low-income homeowners, helping people remain safely and independently in the homes they love.

For 35 years, Rebuilding Together El Paso has invested more than $7.5 million in home repairs and helped more than 2,500 El Paso homeowners and their families. Every repair represents something much greater than lumber, plumbing, paint, ramps, or grab bars. It represents safety restored, independence protected, and dignity preserved.
