Rebuilding Together El Paso repairs the homes of elderly and/or disabled low-income homeowners. We do this free of charge, with the help of the community to donate money and time. We focus on health and safety in the home. Funds are used for quality-of-life renovations, the purchase and installation of grab bars for bathrooms, repairs to the inside walls, tub to shower conversions, installation of grab bars and ADA toilets, as well as the purchase of a new hot water heater or furnace. We bring out volunteers to paint homes and clean up yards.

Rebuilding Together El Paso is asking for donations: A tragic event happened August 12, 2021 when a heavy rain storm flooded a home here in El Paso. Horribly, a retaining wall collapsed. The rain water crashed into the home breaking through the windows and flooded the home up to the ceiling. In a matter of seconds the water swept away A 65 year old and her 2 year old granddaughter. After trying to be rescued, they both tragically drowned. Rebuilding Together El Paso has adopted this case to explore opportunities to revitalize the home, that means that we will approach these homeowners to provide financial support, materials and labor . We need the support of the community to help this family.
