ProAction Emergency Services Institute prepares first responders and healthcare professionals through EMT and Emergency Care Attendant (ECA) education, CPR, First Aid, ACLS, and Stop the Bleed training. Through education, scholarships, and event medical services, we help strengthen the people and skills our community depends on in times of need.
One of our recent graduates, Polet Garcia, is a powerful example of what that support can make possible. When Polet was accepted into our EMT program, the cost of training was a barrier to continuing her education. Thanks to a donor-funded scholarship, she was able to complete the program and achieve her goal of becoming a Nationally Registered EMT (NREMT). Today, she is serving our community as a first responder.
Polet’s journey shows how removing one financial barrier can open the door to a career, a new opportunity, and another trained first responder ready to serve our community.

For more than 30 years, Immunize El Paso has provided low-cost and free immunizations, mobile vaccination clinics, community outreach, and vaccine education. Together, we’ve helped administer more than one million vaccines across our region.
