TEAM SAFE HAVEN
Every person fleeing violence, persecution, or danger deserves the chance to seek safety. But for thousands of asylum seekers, that basic human right is being denied.
This El Paso Giving Day, Team Safe Haven is raising funds in support of legal representation and advocacy for people seeking asylum, including those pursuing withholding of removal, and the Convention Against Torture (CAT).
These are lifelines for individuals escaping threats to their lives—but navigating them is nearly impossible without expert help.
TEAM BRIDGES OF HOPE

This El Paso Giving Day, Team Bridges of Hope is raising funds to ensure unaccompanied immigrant children receive the legal representation, support, and advocacy they urgently need. With your help, we walk alongside them—so no child has to face a courtroom, or a life-altering decision, alone.
TEAM LOS TUCANES DE ESTRELLA
We are Los Tucanes de Estrella, a Mexican music group using our voice and platform to stand in solidarity with immigrant communities. We’re not just about music, we’re about movement. We are legal advocates fighting for the dignity and freedom of immigrants in detention and facing deportation.
Every dollar you give goes directly to helping people detained by ICE, facing deportation, or fighting to stay with their families.

OUR FIELD OF PLAY: The Cause
We are known as The PACK. We are a passionate group of advocates from Estrella del Paso, standing together to protect the dignity and humanity of immigrants in our community. Every day, our team provides free legal services, Know Your Rights presentations, and community education to ensure that immigrants, including unaccompanied children, understand their rights and have access to justice.
We fight to protect due process, empower individuals through education and advocacy, and guide those facing detention or deportation with compassion and expertise.
TEAM THE GUARDIANS
To win SIJS protection (Special Immigrant Juvenile), a young person must first navigate two distinct legal systems:
• State Court: Where a judge must make a legal finding that the child cannot reunify with one or both parents due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and that it’s not in their best interest to return to their country.
• Immigration Court/USCIS: Where those findings are used to apply for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, which can lead to lawful permanent residence (a green card).
Without expert legal help, children can be left vulnerable to deportation—even after surviving trauma no child should endure. By donating to Team The Guardians, you help immigrant children:
• Escape cycles of violence and neglect
• Secure lawful status and a path to permanent residency
• Rebuild their lives with the dignity and protection they deserve

We are Guidance Stars, a team of passionate, collaborative staff from different units at Estrella del Paso, united by one mission: to be a guiding light for immigrants and families in their time of greatest need. Immigrants face enormous obstacles—language barriers, legal confusion, and fear. But we believe support should be accessible, compassionate, and free of judgment. That’s what we provide every day through:

• Connecting individuals and families to housing, healthcare, education, and employment resources
• Helping newcomers adapt to U.S. systems like transportation, financial literacy, public benefits, and more
• Supporting language access, cultural integration, and overall wellness
• Providing case management and referrals for mental health and community programs

The U.S. immigration system is constantly shifting—new policies, rising application fees, and evolving directives to immigration judges and ICE attorneys can leave immigrant communities uncertain, vulnerable, and overwhelmed.
