Crime Stoppers of El Paso, INC is a non-profit organization that works together with the community, law enforcement, and the media to solve crimes. Since 1978, We’ve been providing El Pasoans with an anonymous platform where they can report criminal activity and claim a reward if their tip leads to an arrest.
Our collective efforts fighting crime have led to nearly 5,000 arrests, over 6,000 cleared cases, and $1.2 million in rewards over the years. Most importantly, the impact of our program has provided closure to the many victims and families affected by crime.
Does Crime Stoppers work? Yes, it does! So far this year, the program has helped arrest 81 criminals, has cleared 203 cases and has rewarded over $25,000. In addition, tips have lead to the discovery of drug and human smuggling stash houses.
As part of our commitment to safety, we also support the Campus Crime Stoppers Program to prevent crimes and disciplinary actions on campus. Students have an anonymous resource to turn to and speak out without fear of retaliation.
Your donations will help us:
The program does not use tax dollars as we rely on the community’s generosity to fund the program.
Crime Stoppers is run entirely by volunteers and is currently seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join the organization. As a voting member of the board of directors, volunteers help with developing new policies and procedures, advocate through outreach events, and enhance the public image of CSEP. If interested, visit cselpaso.org, and select the “Join the Board” tab.
