At JFON El Paso, we believe that people navigating their immigration case should be able to do so with their loved ones and in community, not behind bars in immigration detention. Immigrants in deportation proceedings are not provided with free government appointed legal counsel, and most immigrants in detention cannot afford to pay a private attorney. Detained immigrants with representation are seven times more likely to be released from detention than those without representation.
We provide free legal services to detained immigrants, advocating for their release, so they can continue their cases in the community rather than in detention. This work reunites families every day.
Our El Paso Giving Day goal this year is to raise $10,000.
$10,000 gets 20 people released from detention.
National Justice for Our Neighbors will match El Paso Giving Day donations up to $10,000. Give today to double your impact!
