SOMOS started as a dream and vision from God in two people’s hearts, and began to take shape with seven people sitting around their living room.

November 2019: We met for a few months on Tuesday nights, setting up for whoever might come. in our pastor’s living room.

January 2020: We moved to a recording studio called Sound Stage 9 where we changed from Tuesday to Sunday evenings. It wasn’t long until we started running out of space there too, especially for the kids. We were fortunate to get a space at Downtown Spaces. With our growth and this new space, we were feeling ready to officially launch the church with our first Sunday morning service.

March 2020: Our grand launch was about three weeks out, but little did we know that a global pandemic would make its way to El Paso, and put the world on hold. We had to quickly pivot and discover how to record and stream our services. We moved fully online within our first year as a church.

September 2020: We had opened up our live-streamed services to the SOMOS Team.

March 2021: We officially started our in-person Sunday morning service. SOMOS was officially launched.

What we offer: Connect Groups, Youth Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Sunday Services, City Outreaches where we partner with local shelters, and a loving community
